The role of the observer is an important one in the Space Raiders team. Their primary responsibility is to observe and take notes on the raid hosts, co-hosts, speakers, and the overall subject matter of the space. They must pay attention to both the good and bad parts of the space, as this information is vital in shaping the schedule for future raids.

The observer must have a keen eye for detail and be able to provide both a micro and macro perspective of the spaces the team joins. This means that they need to understand the details of what is happening within a space, while also being able to step back and see how the space fits into the bigger picture of the team's mission.

The notes taken by the observer are used to provide feedback to the team on what worked well in the space and what could be improved in future raids. They also use this feedback to help shape the schedule for future raids.

In addition to taking notes, the observer may also be called upon to assist other team members. For example, they may be asked to help the speaker by providing them with information about the space or the audience.
